I'm so bad at this blogging thing.

OK, so here I am getting ready to leave PA and I haven't posted anything on here in such a long time. "Bad Gennifer." Wow, I misspelled my own name LOL I must be tireder than I thought. *gig* Ok, so Philly was really cool!!! I got to see downtown Philly, the University of Penn Museum of Archeology and Anthropology. That was soooooo cool! Then there was the week I was here all by myself. That was looooooooooooooooooooooong. :P Then there was the 4th of July thing. It was really cool too.

I'll post more later. I'm off to fill Willow with ice cream *evil laugh* :D

I Survived! :P

If you're reading this blog, you already know I'm in PA :P I think that only one or two people even know about this blog.

So I got here two days ago, and it wasn't a bad flight at all. I enjoyed it. Even if everyone else in the plane were as interesting and death :P I think I'm the only ones that looked out the windows after we got above the clouds :P I looked out the window once to see that our shadow looked about the size of my finger on the clouds below us. That's when I got a little woozy :P At one point, I could see the ground from 23,000 feet. It was pretty cool. The ground looked like camo.

I loved the view of Philly from the plane. It was so cool to see the river and the bridges and the skyline and everything. Everyone else on the plane seemed to ignore everything around them. I wonder what Orville and Wilbur Wright would do on a modern day plane *giggle* I can just see it now. Imagine them looking out the windows at the way their "crazy idea" was such a wonderful thing. I'm really glad they didn't give up :D

I am known as "my cousin" to Willow. She's so funny. She'll say "My cousin, come play barbies with me." or "My cousin, this is Fiona. She's my kitty." She's so sweet.

To Rose, however, I have no name. I am just there :P At first, Rose wouldn't even look at me. But she's warmed up to me a little. She reminds me of Liam. I imagine that Rose is what Liam would have been like as a girl.

I have slept late every day since I got here. I need to stop doing that.

Until next time, Adieu :D

CPS

CPS will be coming to the house this Thursday. We have had the kids for almost 7 months and this will be the first time CPS will have seen the kids since the night they dropped them off. That day was an odd one. We had gone to the library and as soon as we walked in the door of the house, my mom's phone rang. It was my grandmother. She wanted to know if we could take in a little red headed girl. She was family. My mom said yes. Within the next two hours, it went from a baby girl to, a baby girl, her one year old brother, and her five year old brother. We had four hours to get the house ready for the children and CPS. We were on survival mode for days, weeks, months even. We didn't know what to do with a five year old boy. Our boy was only a year old. My dad could tell that it was taking a toll on the family. My dad is working out of town and only comes home on the week ends. My Aunt decided that she wanted the five year old. We were going to ease him into moving, a little at a time. They took him home for two days and went shopping and when they tried to bring him home, he cried. He wanted to stay with them. So, he now lives with my Aunt and her other two sons.

We have since found out that none of these children are family to us, but we still want to keep them. They are part of our family now. I hope they stay that way.

A hopeful foster sister.

Being a foster sister

Being a foster sister is hard. Not knowing when you wake up if you will have your little siblings when you go to sleep that night. Never knowing if someone is going to take them away. And it's impossible to harden your heart. Especially when you know that these kids have never been loved like this. Knowing that these poor kids have faced things that no one should.

When we first got the kids, my dads voice scared Blake(1). Blake was afraid of everything. He even hoarded food. He was always hiding food in his high chair, or in the couch, or stuck under something. It was so sad.

Better

My amazing, fearless brother

Liam is fearless. He's like Dj, my mom says, "Dj can do anything she sets her mind to. Including, but not limited to something that normal people would know better than to do."

Why do I say this? This is why:

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a basketball player
