I love it here! Everyone always says that the desert doesn't have anything but cactus. Well they apparently have been to Balmorhea! Huge cotton wood trees, a spring fed canal running right though the city park, green grass, honey suckle and there is a little bit of cactus. I feel like I belong here. Like this is where God wants me. It feels like home.
You want to know something cool? Well, I'll tell you any way. People in Balmorhea didn't starve to death during the great depression! The town didn't rely on rain. So the drought didn't effect them.
Good bye for now
