Latin

I decided to have "series" I guess you could say. A Latin phrase a week. I'm learning Latin, but I'm not good at it. The curriculum changed on me and I don't understand it. If I have to post a phrase a week, I have to learn it.

This weeks phrase:
In principio creavit Deus calleum et terrem.
Translation:
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth
